About Sarah

Hello! I'm Sarah Barnett and I'm so glad you're here! I've been working as a freelance photographer for 15 years. I love tellings stories through my photos, but for now here's my story.

I grew up in Central California. Both of my parents were avid photographers and I found myself picking up the camera at a very young age. From then on I was hooked!

I got my Bachelor's degree in Musicology (which is pretty much the nerdiest type of musician you can be). I worked in Arts Education, Advocacy, and Management for many years. During that time I ran my photography business too. This also allowed me some unique opportunities to photograph concerts and events that I had organized, creating a wonderful merge of my passions for music and photography.
In 2020 I took my photography business full time.

I now live in Northern California, Vacaville to be exact, with my partner and our big old dog, Kumo. I love traveling all through this region for work or for play. I even converted an old Comcast van into a camper van that we take on adventures whenever we can.
